Mirror Mirror on the wall
Mirror mirror on the wall…
Why can’t this woman stand tall?
All my vision can clearly see, is EVERY imperfection screaming back at me.
It’s not my vision, it’s not a dirty mirror, the surface reflects what I feel is bigger.
So, I fix my hair & do my makeup…
Hoping inside I don’t just break & give up.
“But your face is still pretty, you’ll always be moms little piggy.”
When mirrors don’t lie & words cut deep…
All I want to do is give up & sleep…
Mirror mirror on the wall…
Don’t let me give up & continue to feel small.
